The lovely 3-star Monterey Bay Lodge hotel is within 5 minutes' drive of Old Fisherman's Wharf and features a patio and a garden. Conveniently located in Downtown Monterey where fine dining and shopping abound a stroll from Dennis the Menace Park, this Monterey hotel has 44 rooms.

The snack bar provides you with a place to unwind. The café Aloha Coffee and Cafe is around 200 metres from the hotel.

Situated a 10-minute ride from the protected Monterey State Beach, the property also gives access to such sports venues as the scenic Del Monte Golf Course, which is a 5-minute ride away. The specialized Presidio of Monterey Museum is within walking distance of the Bay Lodge, and Monterey Peninsula airport is 5 km away.

We loved the hotel's convenient location close to the beach and Fisherman's Wharf, as well as its proximity to Monterey Peninsula College. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, with all necessary amenities provided, including a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker. The hotel facilities were great, with ample parking and easy access to transportation options. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Nothing to dislike.
The location of the hotel was fantastic, with a beautiful beach and park right outside of our room. We were able to easily walk to Fisherman's Wharf in about 15 minutes. The hotel facilities were great, especially the clean pool and hot tub that were open until 10pm. Parking was plentiful and easy to find. The staff was helpful when we needed information about late-night food options. the location to the beach and the convenience of the hotel facilities made our stay enjoyable.
Couldn't fault.
The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and all the amenities were top-notch. Plus, the location couldn't have been more perfect for my needs. Being near to the beach and the Fisherman's Wharf made it extremely convenient for me to explore the beautiful coastline and enjoy the local attractions. the hotel facilities, including the pool and the semi balcony, added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable.
